NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Town Council to consider the following amendment on:
Public Hearing Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: Smithfield Senior Center, 1 Wm. J. Hawkins Trail
The proposed Ordinance Amendment is as follows:
60-6 Entitled Sessions; autonomy of Court that regular Court sessions shall normally
be held at the Smithfield Town Hall on the fourth Thursday of each month at 3:00pm.
The public is welcome to any meeting of the Town Council or its subcommittees. If
communication assistance (readers/interpreters/captions) or any other accommodation to
ensure equal participation is needed, please contact the Smithfield Town Managers office at
401-233-1010 at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting.
