EARLY VOTING PERIOD FOR THE
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2026 PRIMARY ELECTION
WILL BE THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 2026
THROUGH TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2026
The Smithfield Town Hall, Town Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 64 Farnum Pike, Smithfield,
R.I. will have early voting beginning on Thursday, August 20, 2026 through September 8,
2026 for the purpose of voting if you cannot attend one of two (2) polling locations on the
day of the Primary Election.
The early voting polling location hours are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
*Please note September 8, 2026, early voting will end at 4:00 p.m.
