SPECIAL EVENT LICENSE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, by the Smithfield Town Council of Smithfield serving as
the Smithfield Licensing Board, that an application for a License to hold a Special Event
License under the provisions of the Town of Smithfield Ordinance Chapter 186-18-D, and
any amendments thereto has been made to said Council as follows:
Special Event License for:
Smithfield Parks and Recreation Department to hold a Summer Concert Series,
located at the Smith - Appleby House, 220 Stillwater Road, on the following dates:
Wednesday, June 24, 2026 - Rusty Rails
Wednesday, July 1, 2026 Hollow Creek
Wednesday, July 8, 2026 Sideways Down
Wednesday, July 15, 2026 Charlie Marie
Wednesday, July 22, 2026 Nick Bosse
Wednesday, July 29, 2026 Josh Kerwin
Wednesday, August 5, 2026 Atwater Donnelly
Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Jack Babineau
Concert times run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The above named application will be in order for a hearing of the Town Council on
June 16, 2026 at 7:00 pm., 64 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI at which time and place all
remonstrants may make their objections. The public is welcome to any meeting of the
Smithfield Town Council. If communication assistance (readers/interpreters/captions)
or any other accommodation to ensure equal participation is needed, please contact the
Smithfield Town Managers office at 401-233-1010 at least forty-eight hours prior to the
meeting.
