PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Central Falls will be hosting an informal public workshop at the Citys
Department of Public Works Facility (The Bessette Building) located at 1280 High
Street, Central Falls, RI 02863, on November 19, 2026, at 6:00pm local time to solicit
public participation on the preparation of a DRAFT Wastewater Facilities Plan for the
Citys combined sewer system infrastructure. On behalf of the City, Pare Corporation
(Pare) is preparing a DRAFT Wastewater Facilities Plan for submission to the Rhode
Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM). Upon RIDEM approval, the
Citys Wastewater Facilities Plan will serve as a 20-year planning tool for maintaining,
improving, and optimizing the Citys wastewater infrastructure and will provide the
City with the ability to seek State and Federal funding for recommended improvements
identified within the Plan. Representatives from Pare and the City will present an
overview of the current DRAFT Facilities Plan and solicit public feedback related to the
DRAFT Plans contents. The meeting site is handicap accessible. English-to-Spanish
interpretation services will be available during the public workshop.

Copies of the DRAFT Wastewater Facilities Plan will not be available for review until a
later date, with future public notice, following formal review and comment by RIDEM
and other intergovernmental agencies. There will be additional opportunities for public
