Pursuant to the provisions of the North Smithfield Zoning Ordinance, the North
Smithfield Zoning Board of Review will hold a public hearing on September 8, 2026, at
7 PM at the North Smithfield Town Hall, 83 Greene Street, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
The Board will consider the following:
The application is for a Dimensional Variance at 9 Franconia Dr, North Smithfield
(Harrisville RI, 02830). The owner of the property is Kenneth D & Carol Ann Trudel &
Life Estate. The lot is AP 014 Lot 235. The applicant is seeking relief from maximum
height requirement of 25 for an accessory structure (amateur antenna). District
Regulation Table 340 Attachment 3:1. Residential Districts (REA, RA, RS, and RU)
shall be governed by the following regulations:
