North Providence Housing Authority ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Notice is hereby given that the North Providence Housing Authority, North Providence, RI will receive bids for Exterior Renovations. The project consists of renovations to improve existing exterior areas at three locations.
Bidders are invited to submit bids to the Owner per the Instructions to Bidders and the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Hard copies of sealed bids are to be delivered before 11:00 A.M., local time, Tuesday, May 5, 2026 to the North Providence Housing Authority, 945 Charles Street, North Providence, RI 02904. Proposals received after
the above time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened in person immediately following the specified bid closing time.
To obtain copies of the Bid Documents prospective bidders are instructed to send an email to gia@sa-architects.com requesting to be added to the Plan Holders list. The email must contain the following information: Project name in subject line, name of firm, address of firm, point of contacts name, email address and telephone number. Those on the list will receive a return email with the Bid Documents or a link that contains downloadable PDF files of the drawings and project manual. No deposit or payment is required.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. Attendees are to report to the entrance of the North Providence Housing Authority offices, 945 Charles Street, North Providence, RI. They will then proceed to Sunset Terrace, 415 Sunset Avenue and then to Allendale Manor, 511 Woonasquatucket Avenue. No other visits to the project sites will be conducted.
Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the North Providence Housing Authority at 728-0930 seventy-two hours prior to the bid opening.
