Lincoln Water Commission LINCOLN WATER COMMISSION NOTICE OF HYDRANT INSPECTIONS
Starting on June 1 and lasting until October 1, the Lincoln Fire Departments, in coordination with the Lincoln Water
Commission, will conduct fire hydrant inspections and testing throughout the Town of Lincoln. Hydrant inspections and
testing will be performed between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. Inspection and testing will be conducted to evaluate the operability of hydrants in the Town. Residents are urged to use caution around personnel inspecting and testing fire hydrants and when approaching standing and flowing water from fire hydrants. While firefighters inspect and test your area, you may experience decreased water pressure or temporary water discoloration. This is normal and can be corrected by allowing your cold water to run until the water is clear.
