PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on May 14, 2026 at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Providence Superior Court located at 250 Benefit Street in Providence, Rhode Island 02903, KSPR Law, P.C. by and through James P. Murphy, Esq., will and hereby does move the Court for an Order permitting counsel to withdraw as attorney of record for Defendant Olson James a/k/a James Olson.
The motion is made on the grounds that continued representation has become untenable and/or impracticable for reasons set forth in the accompanying motion and supporting declaration, and that withdrawal can be accomplished without material prejudice to the rights of Defendant or undue delay of the proceedings. The motion is based upon this Notice, the Motion and any supporting declarations filed concurrently, the pleadings and records on file in this action, and any argument or evidence the Court may permit at the hearing.
If this motion is granted, Defendant Olson James a/k/a James Olson will be self- represented unless and until new counsel appears. Defendant is advised that (a) all notices and papers will thereafter be served at Defendants last known address; (b) Defendant must keep the Court and all parties informed of Defendants current mailing address, electronic service address (if any), and telephone number; and (c) failure to appear at hearings or comply with court orders may result in adverse action, including entry of default, sanctions, or other relief permitted by law.
This Notice is published pursuant to Court order authorizing service by publication upon Defendant Olson James, whose current address and whereabouts are unknown despite due diligence. A copy of the Motion to Withdraw as Counsel and supporting papers may be obtained from the Office of the Clerk of the Providence Superior Court located at 250 Benefit Street in Providence, Rhode Island 02903, Telephone: (401) 222-3250.
Any opposition or response to the Motion must be filed and served in accordance with Rhode Island Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 7(b)(3) by May 11, 2026. Failure to timely respond may result in the Motion being granted without further notice.
