The Town of Glocester is seeking a Senior Clerk in the Town Clerks Office in Town Hall in Chepachet, RI. The position performs computerized and manual cleri- cal functions, handles walk-in and telephone requests, and assists the Town Clerk as Probate Clerk and Licens- ing Clerk as well as performing daily clerical and record keeping functions.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or
equivalent, reliability and customer-service orienta-
tion, general office experience, fluency in English, pro-
ficiency in computerized systems, and familiarity with
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). The position pays $28.75 per hour and offers an attractive benefit package that includes medical and dental insurance and participation in the state municipal employees pension plan.
