NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Cumberland, under the
provisions of Article IV, Section 409 of the Home Rule Charter of the Town of Cumberland,
will consider for adoption the following ordinance entitled:
#26-19 An ordinance authorizing temporary parking on Tower Hill Road on
September 7 on westbound from 100 ft. before Pole 60 and continuing to
Pole 61.
#26-21 An ordinance authorizing the placement of stop signs at the intersection
off Rabbitt Hill Road and England Street.
AVAILABILITY OF INFORMATION:
Said Ordinances are available for public inspection on the Town of Cumberland website
https://clerkshq.com/Cumberland-ri. A copy can also be requested through the Town
Clerks Office.
Notice is further given that said ordinances will be considered by the Town Council on
Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cumberland Public Safety Building
Community Room, 1379 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI 02864. The public may
