PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board
of Review on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the Glocester Town Hall,
1145 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI, at 7:00 p.m. when all persons interested
will be heard for or against the granting of the following application (s):
Michael T. Flagg, applicant and owner, property located at 9 New Road,
further described as Recorded Plat SS, Lot 23 in an A-3 (agricultural/
residential) zone.
Applicant/owner is seeking a Dimensional Variance in accordance to the
Glocester Code, Chapter 350, Article III, 350-13, Table of Dimensional
Regulations, Lot Coverage. Applicant/owner is seeking to build a 16 x 24
(384 sq. ft.) addition on rear of single family home for living room and office.
The permitted lot coverage is 802.90 square feet or 7.68%. The current lot
coverage is at 1,104 square feet. The applicant/owners lot coverage will
increase to 1,488 square feet, which is 14.2% of the lot with the proposed
addition. The only relief needed is the additional 384 square feet for the new
addition.
