NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public informational meeting will be held in the North
Smithfield Town Hall, Town Council Chambers, 83 Greene Street, North Smithfield, RI
02896 on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.

Copies of the plans and application may be examined at the Office of the Town Planner
North Smithfield Town Hall, 83 Greene St, Slatersville, RI 02896, Monday-Thursday
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Documents related to the
application will also be posted on the Planning Departments page of the Towns website
on Friday, September 4, 2026.
The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a Major Change to a Recorded Plat or
Plan in accordance with Land Development and Subdivision Review Regulations Section
9-7(E)1, to remove an open space designation from an existing lot and the merge said
lot with a portion of an abutting lot to create one new lot for development in a recorded
subdivision.
