NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AUTOMOBILE JUNKYARD /
JUNK AND SECONDHAND DEALER LICENSE
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Chapter 204 of the Code of the Town of North
Smithfield, that the Town Council of the Town of North Smithfield will hold a public hearing
on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 6:45 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, North
Smithfield Town Hall, 83 Greene Street, North Smithfield, Rhode Island, on the
application of:
Donny Nunez, of 1 Beacon Ct, Nashua, NH, for a license to operate and maintain an
automobile junkyard located at 1859 Pound Hill Road, North Smithfield / Assessors
Plat 010, Lot 121.
All persons interested may appear and be heard. Pursuant to 204-4 of the Town Code,
where the owners or occupants of the greater part of the land within 200 feet of the
proposed location file their objection with the Town Council, no license shall be granted.
Written objections may be filed with the Town Clerk prior to the hearing.
The application is available for public inspection at the Office of the Town Clerk during
regular business hours.
