ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Review
on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in the Glocester Town Hall, 1145 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI,
at 7:00 p.m. when all persons interested will be heard for or against the granting of the
following application (s):
A. Daniel Shawver and Varsha Jain, applicants and owners, property located at 26
Appleton Lane, further described as Assessors Plat 18, Lot 344 in an A-3 (Agricultural/
residential) zone. Applicants/Owners are seeking a Dimensional Variance in accordance
to the Glocester Code, Chapter 350, Article III, 350-13, Table of Dimensional Regulations.
Rear Yard Set Back (feet). Applicants/Owners are seeking 60 feet of relief to build a 12
x16 (192 sq. ft.) shed 40 feet from rear yard setback.
B. Richard Zelano, applicant and owner, property located at 11 Putnam Pike,
further described as Assessors Plat 19, Lot 39A in an A3 (Agricultural/Residential)
zone. Applicant/Owner is seeking a Use Variance in accordance to the Glocester Code,
Chapter 350, Article III, 350-11, Table of Use Regulations, Section 7 - Services Business,
Subsection 2 - Specialty Services in a A-3 zone. Applicant/Owner seeks an approval of a
use variance to operate an income tax service business from his single family home.
