Chapel Pharmacy
Health - Medical - Eldercare
Ad textChapel Pharmacy As the last surviving member of the Garabedian family, who began the saga of Chapel Pharmacy in Cumberland some 66 years ago, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude. It has been your loyalty, patronage and friendship that has made this small, so-called Mom & Pop drug store an iconic member of the community.
I personally have had the privilege of working here and serving this community for the last 48 years. The people who now walk through those doors include classmates of mine from Cumberland High (and even Community School), as well as
those who have only recently moved into the area. But whether theyve been customers of ours for 5 years or 50 years, its been a pleasure to offer them the brand of personal service that has become so hard to find.
Thats why after my husband Ed passed away suddenly last August, I felt it was incumbent on me to find a buyer who also believed that great personal service must continue to be a hallmark of Chapel Pharmacy.
Happily, I believe that I have!
That means this community will not lose another independent pharmacy and will continue
to have a non-chain option to serve their prescription needs!
As for me, although I have very mixed emotions, I welcome a long overdue retirement.
Thanks to you all, DebbieGarabedian
