TAX ASSESSOR
The Town of Glocester is seeking a Tax Assessor to administer all aspects of the valuation and taxation of real estate and other tangible property.
The Tax Assessor reports to the Director of Finance and is based at Town Hall in Chepachet. We offer a competitive salary and benefits plan including medical and dental insurance and inclusion in Rhode Islands municipal employees retirement plan.
Prior experience in valuation or taxation of property for a municipality is required. The successful candidate will be a high school graduate or equivalent and have (or obtain within one year of appointment) the Rhode Island Certified Assessor (RICA) designation.
