TOWN COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING CODE OF ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws 45-24-53 that a Public Hearing will be held in the Town Council Chambers of the Glocester Town Hall,
1145 Putnam Pike, Glocester, RI on May 7, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this
meeting is to consider proposed amendment to the Code of Ordinance as summarized below.
Proposed Amendment to the Code of Ordinance:
Chapter 350 -55 Special Flood Hazard Areas and Flood Fringe Lands Section B. Applicability
The proposed zoning amendment is to update the map panel numbers and dates of the Providence County Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and Flood Hazard Boundary Maps prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
that are wholly or partially within the Town of Glocester.

The Proposed amendment is available for public inspection and reproduction in the office of the Town Clerk, Town of Glocester, RI, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
The amendment may be altered prior to the close of the Public Hearing without further advertising, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the Public Hearing.
All persons interested in the above are respectfully requested to be present at that time and place to be heard thereon. Individuals requiring interpreter services must notify the Office of the Town Clerk at 568-6206 not less than 72 hours in advance of the hearing date.
