North Providence School Department NORTH PROVIDENCE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
The North Providence School Department will register children planning to enter school in September 2026 in March. You are welcome to register in person; however, in order to streamline your experience, we strongly encourage you scan this
bar code or visit our web site at http://nprovschools.org, navigate to the registration section, and complete the registration process on-line prior to attending the event. Please bring all documentation with you to the event so we may assist you with any follow up.
Saturday: March 14th/ Registrations for Stephen Olney & Whelan Schools at the North Providence High School from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Saturday: March 21st / Registrations for Woodhaven Elementary School (Previously Centredale & Greystone Schools) & McGuire School at the North Providence High School from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Documents needed for registration include proof of residency (copy of mortgage statement/rental agreement and a copy of a major utility bill), birth certificate, and proof of immunizations: five DTP/DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis) vaccines,
four Polio vaccines, two MMR vaccines (measles, mumps, and rubella), three Hepatitis B vaccine series, two Varicella (chickenpox) vaccines or a doctors note indicating
that your child has had chickenpox, two lead screening test, and a physical exam within the last 12 months. The child must also have a vision screening upon entering Kindergarten. (This screening may be done during a regular health exam check-up). Any student entering from out of the country must present evidence of a recent PPD (Mantoux test for Tuberculosis).
The child must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2026 to be eligible to enter Kindergarten.
