City of Central Falls, City Clerk CITY OF CENTRAL FALLS PLANNING BOARD
PUBLIC HEARING AMENDMENTS TO LOCAL REGULATIONS
The Central Falls Planning Board will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to the Central Falls Land Development and Subdivision Review Regulations on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 580 Broad Street, Central Falls, RI. Opportunity shall be given to all persons interested to be heard upon the matter of the proposed regulations.
The following are proposed changes to the Central Falls Land Development and Subdivision Review Regulations under consideration by the Planning Board:
Amendments to address changes to state law effective January 1, 2023, and January 1, 2024. Proposed amendments include definitions, creation of a Technical Review Committee, improvement guarantees, process for appeals, review and approval of plans and plats, design standards, and other changes for consistency with state law.
The proposed amendments may be examined and copied at cost at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 580 Broad Street, Central Falls, or at centralfallsri.gov/citycouncil.
The proposed amendments may be altered or amended prior to the close of the public hearing without further advertising or notice, as a result of further study or because of the views expressed at the public hearing. Any alteration or amendment must be presented for comment in the course of the hearing.
